Earned Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation 2001. Twenty-five year member Waupaca Lions Club & current Treasurer. Past President Waupaca Area United Fund Drive and current member board of directors. Member of the Farmers State Bank of Waupaca board of directors.

Jean was a Claims correspondent for Aetna Insurance for five years in Milwaukee and Scottsdale. She was a Claims representative for Employers Insurance of Wausau for five years. She has been a licensed Agent in Waupaca since 1982 and completed her CIC Personal Lines Institute in 1984. She was awarded the Certified Insurance Service Representative designation in 1993.

Jean enjoys gardening, hiking, golf, and farming with her husband. She lives in rural Amherst.
